Hey guys, Ivan here.
Earlier the week, one of our forum member wanted a review for these 2 products in comparison. Since i have both of these products in my arsenal, i decided to do a short review on them.

If i remember correctly, Pinnacle released their rinesless w/nuba before the Optimum folks did. So when it was released i got Pinnacle, and THEN Optimum.

But anyways lets get to this review here.

Target car: My gf's 2010 Mini Cooper w/ a 6 months old OC 2.0 coating.
I previously polished this car with Meg MF compound , M105 and M205. Man no matter what protection i put on, this car always get waters spots all over, some can be removed from a wash, but most stays unless is polished.

Sorry if the pictures are not very good.... as my gf was the one taking the pics, so blame her :P

Before shots :

The set up :D

Les get to work.....
I do my rinseless w/ a Mitt, wash panel by panel then dry with 2 MF towels.

From here on, i started using the Optimum NRWW (To recap, i used Pinnacle on Hood/Roof/and ENTIRE DRIVER side)
"Optimum was used on TRUNK and PASSENGER SIDE"

Finished Product

Again guys, again im sorry for the HORRIBLE photo shots.... idk what my gal was doing there with the camera lol.... I need to put her in some kind of photography lessons!!

Optimum NRWW Overview: As we all know Optimum is famous for their Rinseless products, their original ONR is excellent for all around uses, from DETAIL SPRAY to RINSELESS WASH, you name it!!

I looked forward to the release of their New version rinseless w/wax and it did not disappoint. A gallon of this stuff run about $49.99 on AG, sometimes with sales going on, it can easily be have at around $40-45. And 1 jug should last you hobbyist about a year or so. So it is a great bargain. Where else can you find a gallon of wash solution w/wax for only 50 bucks????

Pros:
GREAT LUBRICITY
Requires less buffing when drying
Great pricing regardless if ur getting the 32oz or gallon size
Could also be used as hand lotion, it made my hands silky smooth after washing the mini.
AND did I mention ONRWW SMELLS AMAZING??

Cons:
None that I CAN see

Pinnacle Liquid Gloss w/ Nuba

Pricing:
16oz - $17.99
1 Gal - $49.99

Okay so, the Pinnacle is not bad either. The price is the same as ONRR @ gallon price, but AG folks often have the Pinnacle line on BOGO for mix and match, so you could score 2x 16oz for about $20 once in a while :)

Pros:
It smells pretty good too lol... Like those chinese yogurt drink in the TINY bottles.
Must have for the diehard Pinnacle fans

Cons:
Not as much lubricity when compared to ONRWW
Required more buffing when compared to ONRWW

So there you have it fellas, if you are looking for a rinse-less, look no further than the Optimum or Pinnacle. I am not telling you that YOU MUST purchase the Optimum. But this is coming from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE amd how i felt as i used these 2 products.

And for the slick and shine freaks, these 2 products was pretty much identical. I couldnt tell which one was more slick or shinier.

Thanks for the review Ivan! I haven't tried the pinnacle but looks like I chose right when I got a gallon of ONRWW lmao!

Nice writeup!

Nice review!

My gallon of ONRWW arrives today! Never used a no rinse wash before and I'm looking forward to testing it out, plus mixing a gallon of QD.

More buffing means more possibility of inducing swirls. I agree the pinnacle product requires more effort

Another winner for Dr G and company.

Back when i got my Pinnacle, is when they JUST released their new stuff for 2013 and it was on BOGO.

So i had to have it just to try it out lol, since Optimum wasnt out til later on.

But once i have used ONRWW, i knew which one was going to be used more often =)

Thank you for an excellent "vs" review. Gotta love the color coordination; from the eye-catching wheels to the nifty spigot, I'd say you're a fan of green. lol

Agreed with the extra (albeit minute) effort with Pinnacle's. This is why I'd mostly reach for ONRWW first between the two. Having said that, D114 and UWW+ are my go-to rinseless/waterless products.

Thanks for doing this so much. My feeling from your review would be to get the Optimum. The one thing is, I like to use a waterless product when using a rinseless product. In that area, the Pinnacle is an awesome deal, as one ounce makes 32 ozs. I guess there is no rule that says the rinseless and waterless have to be the same brand - as I think all of these have the same ingredients.

Thank you for sharing your review! I wanted to add (for the protection conscious) that Optimum NRWW also has our patented UV protection additives. So, not only are you saving time and steps...but adding REAL protection against UV fading and damage as well.

Chris, does the normal ONR (the non-wax version) also contain these UV additives?

Sorry about that Chris, i completely forgot about the UV Protection, i was so focused on the cleaning power and lubricity of ONRWW!!

:xyxthumbs:

Thanks for the review! I am almost out of my regular ONR and was deciding what to get between the two because my car has a Nuba coat on it.

Right now, it has black fire nuba but ill soon strip it and put a coat of souveran on it. Which is why I figure I'd keep it in the family, aka pinnacle.

But if optimum required less buffing, then it's a winner in my book.

This was a great review! Anyone have any feel if it would make a difference if you are using Pinnacle Souveran either paste or liquid? Would the Pinnacle No Rinse be better then?

Also could you use either of these as a QD?

I have never used the NRWW but I love the ONR. Just bought the Pinnacle on the 50% off sale on 32oz, couldn't resist the price
