Optimum Opti-Coating - Durability Test Review!!!

Wow, awesome! What is the expected cost of having a layer of opti-coat applied to a sedan? Low range to high range.

Edit: Does this coating also help to reduce the visibility of swirls?

i am also curious as to what the going rate is? would love to have a coating on the trailblazer but many of them seem hard to get, so i might just have to pay someone to do it, or forget about it.

David, thanks for posting the update. As you can see from the thread, there is no lack of interest in OC. Your "real world" testing is the best you can ask for. (Other than perhaps our brutal Canadian winters).
One question for you: Will a mild clay bar just remove any surface contaminents clinging to the coating or will it remove the coating as well?
 
Any chance of a 1.5 year update?

I wonder if Optimum took David's CC info before the review just to make sure he did it. I suppose they adequately compensated him for such a good review also. ;)
