Optimum Poli-Seal

I went ahead and put my 845 into a megs bottle and put the remainder of my poliseal into the old 845 bottle. No mixing issues at all so now I think I have an AIO with better protection hopefully.

if the weather is nice I'm going to do a 50/50 with regular poliseal and 845-infused poliseal this weekend.

:hungry: very interested in your results

I'd go 5. IMO you won't get a nice correction at 3 or 4.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll try a LC white pad on 5, then check results. It's a silver daily driver, so all out correction isn't an issue, but due to water spots I may have to go a bit more agressive with other products in some areas.

Is there a cure time with the polymers in the poliseal?
or can an LSP such as 845 be applied immediately?

Bump!

I'm pretty new so pardon me if the question(s) is silly!

1) AIO meaning it brings claying, compounding, polishing and waxing into 1 step?

2) Can I still apply a layer of Collinite over? If yes, do I have to wipe the car down with ISP prior to applying the Collinite?

1- claying is a step all it's own and separate from compounding/Polishing.
AIO or all in one would be for Polishing & finishing. You'd still need to clay before this if the car needs it.

2-you'd use an IPA usually before applying Coatings to take out oils etc. so the coating can Bond with Bare paint without interference from other elements, No need for IPA before a wax.

poli-seal is going to clean the paint while offering a little protection and claying before hand would be a good idea if bonded contaminants are present on the finish (feel the paint after it's been washed). yes, many top it with opti-seal or perhaps optimum car wax right after...
