Optimum Soap review (found the soap I have been looking for)

Looks like a nice soap. Nice to see non-free sample reviews. Free samples are nice but someone is always getting free samples and doing reviews on them, the reviews could be questionable and not completely honest. I think it's a good policy to let people know if a review was done with a free sample or not. I think I will doing the same on any reviews I do.

Thanks for the safety tips. I would have tried drinking some and put it my eyes just to see how it tastes and feels. Now I know better.

Which is why I mentioned it, paying for an item and doing a review takes any question marks out of peoples mind. Oh and you can drink and smear all over you just use the hammer tip when you can't take it. It works....

How does this soap compare to DG901 (what I use most of the time)? It seems to be well liked around here too.

Haven't tried that one yet so I can't comment.

wytstang -Thanks for the write-up! I share your sentiments completely on this product. I've been using it pretty much exclusively this year and absolutely love it! In my opinion best bang for buck wash available at AG!

Sounds like my next soap purcase, just got to use some of the gallons ive got around here....Did you mention how the paint felt afters? still "wax" slick?

Hitting your thumb help some, but when you get blinded by the soap and smash your face in a brick-wall cos you try to hurry innside to wash your eyes also helps (a broken nose helps to lubricate your eyes very well.....)

No offense to whoever formulated DP Auto Bath, but Optimum Car Wash kicks it's butt! Slickness, suds, cleaning ability are all much better with the Optimum soap than DP Auto Bath. IME DP Auto Bath is a very average soap at best.

I did not check to see how the paint felt after wards. It didn't even cross my mind to be honest. I'll be using it again this weekend if it's not to cold. The temps are starting to drop so ONR will be used more often.

I am very happy with this soap to the point were my search for my "go to" soap is over. As long as I can continue to afford it I will not hesitate to buy again.
