Optimum Spray Wax vs. Duragloss Aquawax Which one is Better?

I always see these 2 car spray waxes on AGO's threads the most and so far ALL have great reviews. I want to know which one do you think is better and why.

Mine is Optimum Spray Wax. I see no need to switch as I have had a great experience with OSW. I have not compared them. Has anyone did and if so which one do you prefer.

I am considering (and probably will) keep both in my arsenal as the $$ is very reasonable for both.

NOTE: I know there are a gazillion QD's ie...Sonax BSD, Blackfire, Megs, Wolgang, PBL etc.

I just want to know about OSW and DAW. If there is another Spray wax then that is ok. Your thoughts and opinions so I can make my decision to buy 1, 2 or all Spray waxes....LOL

I use OSW and it lasts! I'm thinking of DAW as a drying aide and quick wax option. From what I've read OSW will last longer than DAW.

Not much help here, I guess.
 
If your talking solely about spray-products containing at least one type of an LSP-Wax...
Then, to me:
Optimum Car Wax is the better of these two products.

-Optimum Car Wax is a product that actually contains a patented carnauba wax (and patented UV-A, UV-B protectors).

-Doesn't make it a bad product for it's intended purpose, but:
Duragloss' AquaWax probably doesn't contain an LSP-Wax.

Tie, that's the easiest way to put it. Meg's D156 right there with these two.
 
They are kind of like apples and oranges, they are both good, it just depends which one you feel like at the time.
 
I have come to the belief that keeping things in the same family of products can often save some headaches. This is hard for me to do as I like to experiment with different things all the time but I like Duragloss AquaWax primarily over Duragloss sealants, such as 111 or 105. I use it as a drying aid during maintenance washes and sometimes on a dry car as a "topper". I don't think it adds that much protection to the sealants (they seem to last and last on their own) but it does boost the gloss.

I have come to learn that OCW is an LSP in its own right and therefore a different kind of product than AquaWax. It gives off a much richer and deeper shine to whatever you put it on and the protection lasts much longer.

If you use Duragloss sealants you probably will not need extra protection for at least six months and AquaWax used as a gloss enhancer would suit you just fine. If you want an easy to apply LSP with a richer, more wax like look, you can't beat OCW.
 
They are meant for different results. OCW is a quick stand alone LSP and an absolute must for production detailing. AW is a superb drying aid and gloss enhancer. A must for maintenance drying and a nice LSP booster. Both should be on every shelf.
 
OCW is the better LSP but DAW is a great product, I use it for maintenance washes.

The reason I say OCW is a better LSP is because of its durability and "Optimum is the first and only wax that contains UVA and UVB absorbers to shield your paint from all the sun’s harmful rays."
 
Thank you all for your comments. I will continue using OSW as my goto spray wax and LSP for extending the life of my wax on my car. I now will use Duragloss Aqua wax as a drying aid and gloss enhancer as many of you suggested. I will get DAW to be included in my arsenal.

Either way....both are great products. I think this site is awesome as we get feedback from everyone!

What shocks me the most in this whole thread is that FUNX725 was in my camp for opinions!! I fell off my chair when he did not be the devils advocate!!! If I get a great comment from him I must be doing something right!!!!!......LOL
