when is it time to lay a pad to rest?
maybe cut it to pieces and use it for hand polishing under door handles

Would say it's dead cut it up doubt the finish would be perfect

Cut it up and use it for hand applications behind door handles and whatnot.
 
I notice that all of the damage happened at the collapsed cell circles. Could this be a disadvantage of CCS pads? Do flat pads get damaged like this?
 
you can always cut it up and use it to apply tire dressings..
 
I'd still use it on a practice scrap panel.
