Is there any way to build up a wax finish to reduce the appearance of Orange peal? I have a Nissan Titan Majestic Blue and it has the peal BAD, I know about wetsanding and was wondering if wax was built up would it go away??

Thanks in advance

not only will that not work, but just wait until you have a fender bender and have a panel repainted....then the orange peel will look really bad because the repainted panel will look soo much smoother.....

Is this a common problem with Nissan ?
Also If I do take the time to block it all out in the long run am I killing the finish for the sake of Vanity.

Some cars end up being worse, just hit or miss (one Titan can be nice and another may have a lot of OP, plus certain colors show it off more). But basically all cars have noticeable orange peel now b/c of regulations with paint.

Yeah, my Nissan has it since new. I think most do now days.
Yeah, the consensus seems to be that you abrade too much clear coat/UV protection to correct orange peel.

my friend has a platinum or silver whatever color 350 roadster, its horrible....

Nissan paint tends to be on the worse side for OP. As far as sanding it out goes, I'd be pretty afraid of compromising the clear - my buddy's Xterra has 3 or 4 bird bombs through the clear already, it seems as if it's pretty thin to start with.

Don't get orange peel mixed up with bad metal. wavey metal and orange peel are two different things, either way, neither of them can be masked with fillers.

Also, don't accept it from the dealer, it is a defect and should be treated as such.
