order of cleaning...

For cars I regularly wash.

Exteior paint -
ONR pre rise
1 bucket ONR+sponge
Dry, 1 walfe weave and 1 mf
Wipedown Door jams, ONR and MF
Interior wipe down ONR and a different MF towel
Windows, IPA or spray away glass cleaner inside out
ONR wipe down of wheels and tire and wheel well with MF towel.

Dirty car to be waxed.
ONR pre rise,
ONR 1 bucket+sponge
Clay(note I don't dry, I will use ONR as a clay lube)
Dry
IPA Wipe down
collnite 845 wax or 3m sealant
Door jam wipe down
Inteior wipe down
Windows Outside then inside
Wheels last, APC+various brushes, 3m sealant and meg endurance gel

I know it would be better to do wheels ealier. I dunno why I leave them to last. I like to do the exterior paint first because its something big I can easily see the difference I made. Wheels take forever and I dread them. I try to do windows last.

thanks for the responses guys. yesterday i did those two details on a toyota camry and a honda odyssey and did the interiors first. i really liked how it flowed. seemed to save alot of time.

B&B u r a trip.

I guess I have the most unusual method...

1. Wash
2. Dry Vehicle
3. Rims/Tires/Caliphers/Wheel Wells
4. Dry Any Water OverSpray
5. Exhaust Cleaning
6. Clay
7. Dry Again
8. Jambs
*If Polishing Involved, Additional Two Steps for Taping Trim and Buffing/Polishing and an Additional Wipe Down
9. Windows
10. Interior
11. Dash/Center Console
12. Exterior Seal/Wax

Granted this is based off a general detail. I am probably missing steps as for some reason I am terrible at thinking my way through a detail...my hands do all the work...lol.

when i use a sealant like wgdgps 3.0 that needs an hour to set i do the exterior first. then interior, windows and lastly I'll wipe off the sealant.

I washed and waxed a car today and remembered why I do the wheels last. To reuse the wash media. I sprayed the car with apc 1:15, rinsed with a hose and 1 bucket wash with ONR. Wash Media was fairly dirty. I then sprayed a degreaser and rinsed the wheels. Then used various brushes and ONR bucket. today I added some dawn dish soap. Last time I used ONR+car wash and the brake dust was still very stubborn. Today with ONR+dawn dish soap it was easier to wash.

I try not to waste water or products. when I wheels last I always some dirty media on the paint, buts its a simple wipe down with orn and a mf towel.
