So I ordered my usual products through autogeek.
Combo pack super degreaser
Combo pack wheel brightner
CLeaner wax
1 hand held backing for my nano auto scrub.
Package was supposed to be delivered by UPS on the 15th. It didnt come. They rescheduled it for the 16th (have no idea why).
My package came and you guessed it. stuff was missing.
Im missing 1 gallon super degreaser, my cleaner wax and 1 spray bottle.
The box my stuff came in was stuffed with paper towels, the UPS label was taped to the box, looked like it was ripped from the original box and it didnt even include my invoice.
Now i order my supplies through autogeek all the time and im quite familiar with their packaging, the stuffing, and the PBMG tapes. None of which was present.
Now i called UPS first, they told me i have to wait five business days until they conduct their investigation before i can use my products. Remember I have a business to run and i need this stuff.
I will call AG in the morning to see what they have to say.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
Who is responsible?

You'll most likely have to file a claim with UPS which sucks. But knowing AG and past instances they will probably make it right. I'm just telling you how UPS works. I have sold packaging supplies for over 20 years and AG's packaging is first class so UPS must have done a number on it. I ordered a new office chair a couple weeks ago from Staples and it only shipped across state and you should have seen what UPS did to that large box!

Its holiday season and if a box gets destroyed by the delivery company they will often repackage your items..

Not AutoGeek's fault. I say this is on UPS.

My last order didn't even make it to me the first time. The day before delivery it changed and said it was damaged in transit but AG took great care and sent out a new one the next business day!! Granted they didn't follow my request to use FedEx the package came relatively unscathed this time, thankfully.

Did you or someone else take delivery into your own hands, sign for it or was package left on your door step? Been thru this before. AG will say they shipped it, UPS will say they delivered it, you will say my package looks to be tampered with. I believe there is a free $100 insurance coverage from UPS on all packages. So you may be covered but you will have to fight for it. Unless AG decides to side with you.

Not being facetious, but when was the last time UPS had you sign for anything?

And AG pretty much from my experience and other posts here always takes care of the customer first.

You should however if you haven't already take a few pictures of the package and save all the packaging, that will help your case and AG's case big time.

I'm guessing the UPS that came for you had the cleanest engine compartment and beading paint... Lolz.

Yeah I've experienced this. UPS dude was stealing expired CII narcotics I sent to be destroyed at work. Apparently, he was getting the packages from pharmacies with the right address on the label (somehow he knew) and was rifling through them, taking what he wanted, then tossing the box to some God forsaken dark corner of the warehouse. Then the package would arrived "damaged".

It happens.

Don't worry. AG will take care of it.

So i just got off the phone with AG. Explained everything that took place. They assured me they will ship my missing items off today, with fedex this time lol. Great customer service by the way. I was expecting to go through alot of hassle but that wasn't the case.

Unfortunately one of the "costs of business" for AG but as usual, they step up and make it right even when there is no suspected fault on their part. Having humans in the logistics side will always suffer the occasional mishandle. I'm waiting for that drone delivery system to start operating!

Would not shop any other detail store....AG all the way!

To get an adult signature thru UPS, the shipper must pay extra for it. Otherwise, no sig required.
