About to order my PC 7424 with the next special. Does it come with a carrying case? If not, where are some good ones? I saw the old thread on this, but didn't know if there are any new ones out?

no ... checkout Wally World (walmart) they have several plastic tool boxes for 5.00-10.00 that work perfectly and hold everything.

I use a Meguiar's duffle bag... not a hard case but carries the polisher and the pads nicely.

I like to use a two level tool box. The top level has the pads and the bottom level has the polishes and the machine. Plus, it has wheels which is nice.

I'm looking for a specific case for it. One that would have a cutout where the PC would fit perfectly and be nestled in there.

ive still got my original cardboard box it came in. works good so far!

Ditto, I use one too...

I know Meghan uses a tool box for hers and it fits perfectly in there. I still keep mine in the box it came in. :p

Hmmm.. that link to the dark gray plastic case was perfect, but then BILL said it was too large for the PC.

I want to find something hard case, fits perfectly well, and it very strong. I don't want to keep it in the box since I'm going to be carrying it around for mobile detailing. I'll look into the duffle bags and tool boxes once I order the PC.

Thanks though guys!

Though that plastic case does look big, I'm sure it does the job well. No one, even local PC dealers, knew anything about such an item when I purchased mine.

I bought a plastic Plano tool box, then custom cut foam to cradle the machine and pad wrench.

Be sure, when you're doing this, to leave room for the cord cuff to be straight. If you bend them, you can weaken the cord and have electrical shorts.

I have the original box as well..I store my PC in a Tool Box i purchased from HD..

My only issue with the cardboard box is that the cord cuff is tight against the side of the box. I am thinking of rummaging around and looking for a "Pelican" or Otter type box that is airtight and foam inside.
