Golfing.

Trying to practice my swing at the shop . I've been getting more lessons and working on some drills. Another lesson in a week.

IMO, the three sports that require a lot of individual skill and accurate precision (not just athleticism) are golf, tennis, and swimming (not knocking other sports). i have a tremendous amount of respect for those who take these three sports to the highest level...

btw, this is insane (may not even be an official test, but close). not for the weak...

I used to go to the driving range every week, then I started work again and I'm lucky if I get there once a month. I haven't played on a course in over 10 years, I just like smacking them at the range. But I do believe with golf that the more you practice the better, and more consistent you get.

It's definitely a tough sport. Some friends give me grief about golfing. My wife is a good golfer and played in highschool. She normally kicks my butt. But she does hang with or beat a lot of guys .

The golf pro at our course says I'll never be an excellent golfer with all the weight lifting I do.

Maybe I'll prove him wrong. He likes giving me crap though.

Practice does definitely make you better. I actually prefer being on the course than at the range. I may hit them decent at the range. But once I start keeping score I sometimes fall apart.

But going to the range after a long day at work can be a great stress reliever.

Some days I look like I shoot in the 70s while at the range. Once I'm on the course, I'm happy with anything under 100. Penalty shots get you. Lowest I've been is a 93.

I HIGHLY recommend playing The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island if you get the chance. Don't ask what I shot there as I don't know. I told the caddie (playing before noon requires a caddie and it was a GREAT experience) that I was there to enjoy the course. I did play well, though. If you're ever in Northern Michigan, I also recommend playing Bay Harbor Golf Club. Arcadia Bluffs is on my list in the next few years, that's normally the #1 recommendation here.

Not golf talk...oh no!!!
I help the elderly play golf for therapy for a living(volunteer )
The mean age of the guys is 80...3 guys are in their 90's

That’s very nice of you! Golf is a great, lifelong sport. One nice shot is all it takes to keep me going back.

There is a Women her name is Millie she will be 97 in June.
She still drives her own car to the course and can shoot in the high 80's low 90's from the front tee box.

I took this pic of her as we all want the local news to do a story on her

That's incredible that she is so capable at that age. I bet golf is part of the reason for it, not even kidding. What an inspiration!

I believe that is why ALL the people I help golf are alive...quite possibly the best sport ever invented...where else can you play a sport at age 2 to a 102....drink beer and piss on trees.....:D

I once shot a 59 on an 18 hole course.

Throwback to the day we drained the drydock, exposing 58 years of marine growth. Those millions of zebra muscles smelt lovely....lol.

If I interpret your pictures I come up with two options.

1. You’re a hired assassin that uses residential riding mowers to get in and out.

2. Or your second picture let’s everyone know how powerful your pen truly is. :)

Is that a Ferris?

The company I work for splashed out and got one about a year ago after a string of Torro's.

This one has a Yanmar 3 Cylinder Diesel, it's a beast.
