Ok everyone, we all know that we obsess in detailing our cars, hence the reason why we are all here. But my question to you is what is your other obsessions that you have?

Mine would have to be music and art of course. I have been playing the drums since I was 5, was playing paying gigs at 16 (parents had to attend the shows so I could get in the clubs that we were playing) and run an online alternative radio station called "Deranged Radio - Music for the Bipolar". It is pretty cool looking at the stats of the station and seeing you are broadcasting across the globe in 83 countries and counting. My mother always tells me that when I die my last vision will be set to a music video. You can bet that if I am awake there is music going.

As with my obsession for music, I, and if you have seen me in person or pics, I love tattoos. I draw them and give them too. I have sold many paintings and that is nice and all but I think that it is the highest honor when someone asks you to give them a tat. They are carrying your artwork on them for the rest of their life and that is pretty cool to me.

Well there you have it, that is my two great obsessions in life (other than my kids), can't wait to see what you all are interested in.

For me it is Auto Racing and taking my son RC Racing

I guess you can say we love racing.. My daughter wants to start racing real cars on dirt now too..

Hmmm, what else am I compulsive about?

Let's see...cars, motorcycles, food, music, watches, woodworking.

That's pretty much it for the time being, but stay tuned--new compulsions arrive frequently and stick around for a while!

I like to call them "hobby's" :D

  • Woodworking
  • Shooting
  • Reloading
  • Tools
  • Watches

I guess you could say that I have an obsession with the music of Frank Zappa. I have over 100 FZ albums and attend any FZ tribute bands that perform within a few hundred miles from my home here in Central PA. I've seen Dweezil Zappa's "Zappa plays Zappa" 4 times, I've seen Project/Object, an FZ tribute band with some correct voices such as Ike Willis and Ray White 3 times, I recently saw the GrandMothers of Invention which has some of the original Mothers in the line up such as Don Preston, Tom Fowler and Napoleon Murphy Brock. These are all incredible shows!! I have yet to see Boca Raton's "Bogus Pomp" or Brazil's "Central Scrutinizer Band", both of which Ike Willis performs with from time to time but they are on my Bucket List.

As a drummer, you may be familiar with, or enjoy "The Black Page".

Enjoy!!

Another thing I am dedicated to but not so obsessed with is helping people who are stuck in the vicious cycle of drug and or alcohol addiction, (if they are ready and willing to stop) to get clean and sober and stay that way. I have the experience of once being there and had help from many people to change and grow in the right direction. I see it as my highest purpose in life to freely give back what was given to me, to anyone who is ready to receive it.

Nice radio station Yancy!! I placed it in my bookmarks toolbar!! It's refreshing to hear something different than what the local radio stations kill on a daily basis. Thanks.

-Good beer, single malt scotch.
-Music - Listening and playing. I am one of the last holdouts on digital music and buy nearly everything on CD. No idea how many I have. I'd guess over 2000.
-Woodworking. Just built a kitchen dinette table from 75 year old reclaimed Douglas Fir.
-Cigars
-Working out

Lol! I was there once, started to run out of room and tired of moving them all. Converted all to digital and never looked back. I think that I am close to 60,000 songs and adding more everyday. Yeah I am addicted.

5. Staying out of trouble.

6. Addicted to this forum. I probably check in 20 times a day.

7. Keeping current with immunizations and new drug therapies for my job as a retail pharmacist.

Oh god... Yeah, I'm another music freak... I was right there when Napster first opened up so I've been "collecting" digital music for about 15 years now. I just purchased another 1.5TB Hard drive to house all of it, as the first one is getting full. Yes, you read that right...Terabyte.

Another thing I'm "addicted" to is Coke Slurpees. They're like crack.

I'm also obsessed with the whole EMS world, since I'm currently in school to be a Paramedic.

Music
Car Audio
Car modification
Digital Photography
Learning

Besides detailing and shmucking around with cars, the last 5% of my time is occupied with photography, reading, and writing.

Guns
Shooting them
Reloading for them.

I always enjoy firearms and everything to do with them. If proper safety rules are followed they can be an enjoyable hobby!

Let's see, when my A.D.D. lets me, I love to Reload, work with wood, I am an aquirer of tools, I have watches for different occasions (G-Shock for work - Jail:D) and I love to shoot what I reload - .45ACP, 30-06 and my muzzleloaders. I am currently on a quest to build an AR-15 or as some forums say "Assemble" Then load some .223 for a zombie attack"! :props:

Oh, I do enjoy a nice Fuente Fuente Opus X on occasion.....

Smoking meat and just about any other food I can think of.
After a coworker brought his smoker in for a BBQ one day I was hooked, then I found a smokingmeat forum that reminded me a lot of AGO with all the helpful people and extensive knowledge to be had and then it became an obsession. I smoke something every weekend and even during the week. I have been on the forum so much they made me a moderator. It's great, I can throw some ribs on the smoker then go wash and wax my car and when I'm done it's time to eat!!!

I am a huge video gamer, so I love my xbox.

My lady and I hike a ton too, we also run 2-3 miles together every night.

Me and the wifey are pretty quiet people, we love movie night, our dog and cat, we're pretty simple people.
