Smoking meat and just about any other food I can think of.
After a coworker brought his smoker in for a BBQ one day I was hooked, then I found a smokingmeat forum that reminded me a lot of AGO with all the helpful people and extensive knowledge to be had and then it became an obsession. I smoke something every weekend and even during the week. I have been on the forum so much they made me a moderator. It's great, I can throw some ribs on the smoker then go wash and wax my car and when I'm done it's time to eat!!!

What is the forum called? I loved smoked meats. Would love to et some advice and tips for perfecting the art. I have a smoker but I've only use it once :(.

As for my other hobbies. Cleaning cars I my number 1 for sure. It's like my drug lol. I'm pretty much into anything motorsports. Bikes are my favorite, but the wife doesn't like them so I just have to dream. And spending time with my family and our dogs :) (2 German Shepherds - litter mates, and 2 Havanese's - same parents but separate litters).

Repairing and modifying vehicles, baseball, making a good living!

Running my own business, world economics, and paying a lot in taxes! Lol.

I don't just enjoy detailing cars, I enjoy owning and driving them i.e.: Sports cars, luxury cars, collectible cars, trucks. Most recently purchased a 1989 Mercedes Benz 560sl. It's what led me here.

Enjoy the Harleys. Although I don't ride as often as I once did, we've been in almost every state in the continuous 48, and have ridden as many as 12,000 miles in 1 year.

Love to cook and do most all of it in our house. Very relaxing and therapeutic. Also enjoy a very dry martini, a few fingers of Jameson over ice, a nice wine, or a cold beer on a hot day.

Like many of you, I like music. Took lessons on the trumpet all through school. Learned the guitar in the 60's and played in several bands while in college for parties, weddings, etc. Always thought I would trade all that to know how to play the piano, so I've been learning the piano for the past 20+ months. As far as listening, I enjoy the oldies from the 40's, 50's and 60's. Can't beat the old standards, the big bands, and early Rock & Roll. IMHO

Love old movies (30's-60's). Haven't been in a theater in over 10 years.

Travel. Not only around this country in the RV, but several countries in Europe.

Sports. An active participant at one time. Now, more of a spectator.

Still on the bucket list: parachuting if I can muster the nerve. Maybe after a martini!

Now that I am older, my hobbies and interests are a little more tame. Here are a few...

  • go to the gym
  • yoga
  • new places to eat
  • old places to eat
  • travel to new places, see new things
  • watches
  • clothes

For me, it's music and photography. Been playing guitar since I was 12. Always have music going. Enjoy both old and new music. There is plenty of good new music too if you look for it.

I'm known as the resident music geek at work and am always asked questions.

Actually got into an argument at a flea market with some "comic book guy" type at a flea market trying to tell me Beatles For Sale was their 3rd album. It's their 4th. I told him "look it up" and walked away.

Well I gotta say detailing isn't really my obsession my car obsession kinda forced me into detailing I absolutely love working on my car, wether its rebuilding the motor or puting some new pipes on the car or maybe just a simple oil change I love working on it
