I've seen posts here and there about using certain things in bathrooms. We are in the process of packing and moving and of course everyone cleans things during that time. Just hit the furniture with my Lexol.

Now I'm looking at my flatscreen. Are our glass cleaners (stoners) safe to use on things like that? Have any of you done it? I know LCDs can be sensitive.

I also have a granite topped island in the kitchen. Any benefit to using something like a polisher on a surface like that? Or is anything but a simple wipe down a waste?

Any other tips you might have in house would be appreciated as I'd like to hit as much as possible in the new place.

Ultimate waterless wash is the best thing I've ever used on LCD and cell phone screens.

Megs QID is excellent for flat screens and most other household surfaces.

OPC on stove burner pans was pretty successful. DP Glass Restorer on water-spotted shower door worked great. APC 10:1 on just about anything from countertops to floors.

I've used Stoner's (now Meg's) on my LCD TV, LCD computer monitor, laptop, and of course mirrors and glass...no problems whatsoever. I'm currently using up a bottle of Turtle Wax ICE QD (not good enough for the car) for cleaning duties indoors for stuff like detailing.

I clean my laptop with CarPro Eraser, works like a charm.

I use my diamondite screen cleaner on the tvs, monitors, etc with great results!

Love the smell of that stuff too!!

I've got a large, brushed aluminum air pot that stays full of coffee all day. The plastic tube inside gets coffee stained and eventually turns black from the crud. Nothing I've ever tried puts a dent in it. I filled the tube with OPC and let it sit for a while. Rinsed and it looked like new.

The brushed aluminum outer skin on this thing attracts marks... fingerprints, drips, splashes. Nothing simply wipes off. A moist towel wipe leaves more marks than it cures. Numerous metal polishes clean things somewhat.... Poli Seal and other AIOs are unimpressive. Today I used P21S Polishing Soap which left the thing looking like new. Then it got Opti Coat 2.0 to keep it that way.

TVs, & computer screens get 1Z Cockpit Premium.

lol my bathroom mirror has a coat of WGDGPS! i use stoners IG on all glass(err the wife does ) the IG is fine to use on lcd's just spray the towel not the screen(common sense) got a coat of collinite 845 on my phone screen, and on my metallic grey mouse(do i have a problem if even my mouse has no swirls or scratches and gets a nice coat of 845?) LOL. but the wife really liked the WGDGPS on the mirror in the bathroom dont get dirty as quick and is very easy to clean.

845 on glass shower doors. OC on leather couch. Either a QD or OC on all flat panels.

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe to clean everything from granite counter tops to plasma screens, laptops, monitors, furniture, and on and on. Leaves a light shine with a nice clean look and doesn't streak. Oh, works good on and in cars too!

Wow, I am amazed how many are using "cleaning products" for their Plasma, LCD TV screens etc.

Most manufactures recommend only distilled water, spritzed on a MF towel to clean the screen. In fact, I think the TV GEEKS are even more fanatic about their TV's than the AutoGeeks are about their cars...and thats saying ALLOT!

Yeah I would do everything these guys have done except clean my tv ect with anything but a dedicated cleaner. But im also a huge nerd lol

I wet sanded; compound; finish polished two bathroom counter tops plus all of our kitchen counter tops. After polishing I applied sealant.

It's funny, my thinking was glass is glass, but I cleaned it before checking the thread. I opted for my IPA solution lightly sprayed on a very plush MF. Worked well, but still not sure what the good the bad and the ugly actually is when it comes to cleaning flatscreens.

Removes water spots from marble tile quite nicely...

UPGP in the shower, glass and tile.

Aquapel glass cleaner on LED bigscreen tv.

205 in my case tumbler.

Souveran on my dresser top.

Various APCs in the ultrasonic gun cleaner.

Hand rubbed Optimum Hyper Compound and Polish to reduce/eliminate scratches on CDs, DVDs & Blu-Rays. If they are really bad I use PB's Black Hole to do a little filling.
