Outside my office window a mobil car wash

As I write this I am watching some mobil car wash people washing cars in the parking lot for people in the office. My window is in perfect position to watch technic. I just watched them wash a brand new Lexus IS 350 with a mop! No kidding, a mop! O and the concept of duel buckets, HA! No such thing! JUST A MOP BEING DUNKED INTO GRIME/SILT FILLED WATER! I can practically see the swirls being added right now from my window. These guys must make pretty good money, they charge like $20 and they do like 5 cars in a hour no problem. But each wash comes with complimentary swirls. I can't take this, I need to notify my office mates of the travesty that is happening in the parking lot.
 
WOW that is crazy! It's your obligation as an AG member to inform such ignorant people that would let a MOP touch their car, that it's an insult to true detailers that they people to "rape" a car like that
 
ask them if they use dirty water and a mop to wash themselves?

O man! Good Idea. They come every week, I will bring my camera next week and sneak in the bushes and take some pics. This will be good!
 
oh my God - you should have shot a photo to post here...
and then contact the owner and ask him if his employees are always in practice of washing expensive cars people worked hard for - in most cases - with a dirty mop and dirt. i mean do they wash hus car that way i must wonder?

Simi Valley ... wasn't there a time when people wipe there ass with hundred dollar bills ... Now hacks are doing 20 dollar 'mop' jobs ..

guys im sure it was a cobra microfiber mop. and Im positive there was a grit guard in that bucket.

I recommend a slow, deliberate course to avoid unpleasantness. Who knows why they all hire the same hack? Maybe it's Mr. Bigcheese Bossman's nephew and they're shining his wheels so to speak. Maybe it's simple groupthink. Sometimes people get peeved when they perceive that their proprietary decisions are being challenged even if they obviously are wrong unto death. Don't know why (guess ego), but it is an universal part of the human condition. Still, it remains your responsibilty to attempt to correct them though they hear not a lone voice in the wilderness. Godspeed, Good Samaritan.
 
Hopefully it wasn't a mop with a built in wringer, youch.
