Thats a great question!........thats exactly what i do and often wondered:confused:

If the car is sitting in the garage overnight and you add a layer the next morning the duster is a valid option, as should be nothing more than surface dust.

If the car has been driven for the day or until the next weekend, then I would wash and might consider the new Ultra Clay if it felt gritty.

If the car sat outside all night and just got a little dew in the morning, then I would go the QD'er route.

Now as for removing Klasse SG with a damp towel, while that would work, I would think (I dont pretend to know) that it will effect the curing and most likely a little durability. What I have found with SG is a couple of hints, and this works with the newer Werstatt also.

1. Use a small travel size spray bottle, and no more than two spritz's per panel.

2. Use the WOWO method --- wipe it off almost immediately from panel to panel.

3, If you have a stubborn area or find a missed spot later in the day (leaving the car out in the sun after using a sealant will quickly show any missed spots, as they haze quite well) then simply reapply the SG and immediately wipe off. It comes off easily and takes the missed area also.

4. Reapplication --- I have found SG to be slightly less finicky on the second coat provided you have not used any QD'er or other product between the layers. It seems to like to bond together.

It is not the easiest product to use, but it is nearly bulletproof for several months. It will need a little gloss as quite sterile, but easily done with Quikshine, 425, Sonus Acrylic Spritz, and even Poorboys Spray and Gloss.
