I read somewhere that Brake Buster has anti-corrosion inhibitors, so when cleaning wheels, spray the rotors before rinsing and the rotors won’t rust. Had to try it for myself and......it’s true! No more Hyde’s Rust inhibitor!
I cleaned one wheel with Brake Buster and sprayed the rotor while I was at it, then rinsed and let dry. I then sprayed another rotor with only water and let dry. I rubbed both rotors with my fingers. You can clearly see I pulled rust off the wheel sprayed with just water, while the finger next to it has no rust!
The lighting was not optimal to show pics of the rotors. Wouldn’t do it justice. Proof is on my fingers.
If you choose not to believe me, that’s on you.
