P21s

I really like liquid souveran but i can get P21S at a very good price because my girlfriend works at a store that carries it.so thats y i asked.i do oventually want to try SSII.but i hear alot of people like P21S.

Just Liquid Souveran, I like it fine.

Speaking of which, where did PNB intend for SSII to fit in the marketplace? From the literature alone (which indicates it's a formula upgrade), it's hard to differentiate it from Souveran. Is it meant to be the budget formula?

SSII is a upgrade to the original SigSeries that was an upgrade to Paste Glaz by Pinnacle. It is designed very differently and has polymers and great on metallics and light colors. Souveran Paste is richer, deeper, and made for dark solid colors. Both are quite different than the liquid version.

The new P21S has received plenty of positive feedback. If you can get it at a discount and no shipping I'd buy it.

If I remember correctly SS II was developed because SS I wasn't VOC compliant. And liquid Souv was the replacement for Paste Glaz. It's been a while so I might be wrong.

you are correct on VOC regs ... I dont consider LS a true replacement for Paste Glaz as it was sold at the same time. When PG was done, shortly after Cycle Glaz and SS were released.

well between P21S 100% and SSII which do u think is better or in wat cases is 1 better then the other.

I have only seen P21S on net pictures so I really can't say if it's better or worse then SSII. I have used SSII on my wifes Fusion and she saw the metallic and flakes pop quite well (flakes also popped well with MaxWax). I haven't seen P21S on metallic though, but it looked great on red and blacks. Chances are with proper paint prep it would be hard to see a difference between the two imho.
I just looked at the prices of each and P21S is $50 for 6oz and SSII is on sale for $35 and it's 8oz. If your discount price is close to SSII I would go that route, but if your ordering from AG soon I would opt for SSII due to price and amount (2 extra ozs). If your concerned about durability then maybe P21S would better suit your needs. I'm trying to remember but I believe SSII lasted about 4 weeks maybe 5 during the summer of last year (95+*) with a QD (QS) boost at week 3.

was there a durability loss between the concours wax and 100%??because i see alot of people like the concours wax as well.I may get both SSII and P21S in the near future.

I would say they both look quite similar actually ... I might say the SSII is a bit easier to use with the WOWO method but thats picking small bits. Either are fine choices and should make a properly prepped finish shine.

That that I'm aware of.

If you can get the P21 100% for a good deal I would jump all over it
