I would disagree, they are the expert not us. If they put a kit together they should put the right backing plate. I bought the 6" backing plste and all is good now.
They replaced my burnt out pad and also replaced my XMT pad conditioning spray because the sprayer didnt work when they sent my new order to me. Talk about quickly handling questions and concerns.
