Pad Cleaner ?

I overlooked this product when stocking up on new supplies. Is this really necessary or can I use some Dawn and hand wash ?
If not, what is the difference in the brands.. either it cleans or doesn't right ? Just different brand names?

I often wonder the same thing. When stocked up, I always use pad cleaner (McKees 37) and works like a charm. If I happen to be out, I use Dawn Platnium and it seems to get the pads clean. However, I have no idea if using a soap has any longer term negative impact on the pads. I do this only in a pinch, so maybe in situations like that it is ok once in a while?

I love PoorBoys World Pad Cleaner - never thought anything would work so well.

From experience with this and other pad cleaners, I have to say this is the best pad cleaner on the market. Good recommendation.

Poor boys is good stuff just follow the dilution ratio as I wasted a full bottle after doing both my cars

Poor boys says it is good on microfiber cutting padd.. does that mean it would work on microfiber towels too ? Two birds, one stone ?
