pad preference

i definately like the tangerine pad with wolfgang finishing glaze

I use lc flats and get great results on my soft paint with Menzerna polishes

Flats, HT and VC pads! Love the VC pads but too bad they aren't sold on AG.

So far I like the flat pads the best. Their smooth texture combined with the "thinness" of the pad make them very efficient.

I have some Hydro-Tech pads but haven't tried them yet.

I use flat pads for wax/sealant application and HT's for polish

I have been using LC FLAT for a long while but now the Meg MF and Buff n Shine pads are what I have been reachin for as of late

Hydrotech are the way to go my friend :dblthumb2: (in my opinion) I should say thats what I like anyway

I have only been using flat pads. Why do people like HT pads so much?

I like and use HT pads but I can't honestly say that they are better than the flats. IMO they are equal but flats have more options in cut, HT's keep it simple.

That's how I felt. I felt that the HT's are an easier way to know what pad to use. I think I will just keep on using flat pads from now.

I have CCS and HT's. The HT's finish really well but IMO the CCS are more durable and reliable for correction work. Sometimes I can't get as good a correction with the HT's as with the CCS. I also use Surbufs for extreme jobs.
