It's time for me to order some new pads and I'm looking for some advice from you folks. I've been detailing for about 6 years and I'm an enthusiast meaning, I don't do this for a living. I use a Porter Cable 7424 XP and I've been using Lake Country CCS & Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pads. I'd prefer to keep the PC 7424XP and there are SO many pads out there. I can read reviews but I'd rather hear form the folks who use them.
My primary polishes are: Optimum Polish II and Meguiar's 205, sometimes Optimum Finish Polish or Menzerna SF 4500. I'm looking for a light cutting pad (equivalent to CCS orange) and a polishing pad (equivalent to the Hex-logic white pad).
What are detailers in similar situations buying?
