Need some help from all the knowledgeable people in here. I got my PC earlier this week (was finally able to afford it, nothing wrong with AG) along with a few orange pads (CCS I believe). I also found in here a "pad chart" with LG pads in an "aggression scale". One question is - Are the pads "aggression" basically the same between LG and CCS? Second question is - At what speeds do I set my PC? The package didn't say anything except that 1-2500 OPM and 6-6000 OPM. And there is nothing on the comparison chart about which speeds to use with which pads. I 'm looking to mark my chart with the speeds so that I don't mess up any thing.

Any and all help is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

pads abrasiveness and coloring are somewhat unique to each manufacturer, no industry standard.

For polishing use PC on 5.5 - 6 on dial, if removing wax with bonnet use around 3, and turn on low when spreading wax and polish.

Bonnet? Bonnet! Damn, I knew I forgot something in that order!

Back on topic - So the LC orange pad is more or less "aggressive" than the CCS orange? And do you know of a chart for the CCS pads?

2-3 to spread
5-6 to work polish
I use 4 for glazes

glaze has little or no protection.....adds gloss and hides swirls. Wax protects, hence LSP (last step process). Both done with softest pad (black or blue usually) on speed 3.

So the procedure would be polish, glaze then wax?

Thanks one and all for your assistance. Is there a list somewhere of what to use and in what order? Something similar to the LC pad chart? I know that you have polish, glaze, then wax but there must (I guess) be more to it than that.
