Before I start, I realize that using the RUPES pads are the best for balance and the machine. I have a RUPES 15 and I have been using Megs Thin Foam pads and their MF pads because that is what I had before and didn't want to buy all new pads and polishes. My question is, what pads are compatible with the Mini?

Have not use them yet I hope they work, I'm looking more toward getting buff & shine 4" pads I hope lakecountry will make a hd version I like their 6" ones. Rupes pads are to pricey. Adams has a 4" pad that looks like lakecountry hd version but way to expensive.

Thanks Tpr. That's what I've been seeing. LC has 4inch pads but they have so many options it gets confusing on which ones to buy.

I personally have enjoyed using the Buff and Shine 4 inch pads. I find no vibration with the B&S pads just like I would using the Rupes pads.

i use Meguiars MF cutting discs or the Rupes pads. the machine runs super smooth when using the Rupes pads.

I'm using Buff & Shine 4" pads. I experimented with LC's it tears them up pretty quickly, backing velcro comes off.

I have the Rupes pads, buy em on a sale. They really do work the best and last the longest. Another that works really well are the 4" self centering ones because the center is three inches.

A good option is the 3" LC hydro techs (low profile). They work very well and being a little smaller, allow you to get into even tighter areas.

What colors do you recommend for the 3" fly07sti. I noticed they have 6 different ones

I cannot find the low profile Hydro Tech. Unless fly07sti is talking about the 3" x 1.25 which don't look low profile.

Ya, the hydros only come in 3 colors.
Cyan=cut/compound
Tangerine=polish
Crimson=finish
The majority of the time, I use tangerine. Very versatile pad. Cuts good and finishes great.
