pads?

well im getting a 7424xp with the 5 inch backing plate and ive been told i need to use 6.5 inch pads with it? but then ive been told that 5.5 inch pads are better for polishing? which should i use and can i use 5.5 pads on the 5 inch hook and loop plate?

go with the 5.5,easier to work with. yes you can use them with the 5" bp

I like 5.5 inch pads better. They should be used with a 5 inch backing plate.

6.5" pads just don't work very well with the 7424XP as it has troubles keeping them spinning.
