I am working on a 1970 gran Torino what kind of pads should I get to take out swirl marks? I have the flex 3401 and I am using meguiars m105 and m205?

The LC hybrid pads work really well with the flex. Smack aka mike swears by them and u have them a shot well lets just say these are the only pads I will use with the machine.

I'd suggest picking up 4 orange, 4 white, 2 black to start, maybe 2 blues for good measure and if they're sold in 6 packs that would save you some money.

Also if you don't have one, you'll need a 6" backing plate, some backing plates just don't perform as well with others with certain pads being used. So maybe somebody else can chime in on that matter.

Does the Gran Torino have the original single stage paint or is it a base coat clear coat repaint?

The owner say it is original
So it is single stage
