I got my car used, and I don't know if it was the previous owner, or the car dealership that did it but there are some very small paint chips on the car that it looks like they used touch up paint to cover. (The touch up paint appears to be slightly darker than the original paint, and looks bad on my mirrors :()

My question is, what will using the Menzerna Cermaic kit do to these areas? Will it remove the touch up paint? I'm a little worried of using the PC with the polishes and uncovering scratches that go all the way to the primer or something...

Well it might come out when too much pressure is applied but if done slowly it should be fine. I have similar problem, i got lots of paint chips and will fill those with my pain followed by 2000-3000 grit sand paper to level the surface and will hit it with polish and wax after.
I would start on one of the mirrors, try it and find a combination that you like. Not to mention having a painter ready on standby in case its worse than it looks. (I paid about $40 for mirror repainting *car accident*).
