If I do a complete Meg DA MF on car do I need to do a paint cleanser (pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion) after that before I seal it or wax it?

IMO, No. The paint should be as clean as it is going to get once you have polished it. My understanding is PAintwork cleansing lotion is a chemical (non-abrasive) mild polish with some oils in it to fill defects.

The Fisnishing wax has waxes and oils in it. If you want an oil and wax free surface, you should use IPA or a wax stripper (like Griots PAint Prep) or a Dawn wash.

What would be the advantage of an oil free surface?

You do not need anything after the Megs System. The two parts are the entire system, and the Finishing Wax is your LSP. You could always top with a spray wax like Duragloss Aquawax, but it is not necessary.

If you want to use a different wax or sealant, you could do what I do. I skip the Finish Wax and use a different polish, like Mothers Foam Pad Polish, on the finishing disc or a grey pad, and then seal and wax.

Mainly to assess the true condition of the paint. The oils may fill the defects and you wont see them until you wash it once or twice, then they appear.

The other reason, which is what I thought you were asking about, is to allow the best adhesion possible of your sealant. I dont know how true it is, but, some feel that sealants bond best with a clean, oil free surface. The chemicals I mentioned above, should clear away any wax or polish residue (oils, etc.).

AS James said, the system is designed to be a 2 step process leaving you with a protected surface. I just thought you wanted to use another sealant instead of Finishing Wax.

you can use Krud Kutter and ipa to remove oils. you can also use OPC
