Paint gerneralizations by Make?

Anyone know where I can find (or maybe we can compile one) of makers paint info. Im looking to see if anyone has info on Lexus paints? Or the process that from a manuf. paint so different from others.

You might want to write or email Lexus of North America, who will have that information. Everyone has a process and paints that are different then the others. By the year 2020, all paints use and sold for automotive painting will be water base because of the EPA laws that have took effect in 2009.

I think a paint chart would be great for both American and foreign cars.
