It's a new car and the tires have an orange and white paint dot on them. The wheels had a blue paint dot on them but Scratch X took care of that. The dots of paint, I assume, were index marks for balancing. What can I use to get the paint spots off of the tires??

Thanks

Try Amazing Roll-Off with a stiff Tire Brush. That should do the job. The Red dot should be lined up with the Valve Stem on the Rim for proper balancing.

Thank you all for your replies. I put some Simple Green on them, let it soak for a few minutes, and used a stiff brush. Presto, all gone. Thanks again.

That's what I thought about the red dot, however the red dot was lined up with a blue dot that was on the wheel. The wheel must have been balanced separately. That's the way they came from the factory. At 110 mph there was no vibration at all so something must be right.

Thanks for the info.
