The company truck that I drive is a black GMC Denali. Last year I used McKees 37 coating with what I consider middle of the road results. This paint seems to be on the soft side, so after a while I was having swirl marks that I wanted to polish out. I used essence plus once with good results, but I'm just not really pleased with the daily look. Water spotting is pretty bad. I know, it's BLACK. But it's my DD and I'm in Michigan. Every time it rains I can't pull over and wash it. Water spot remover really doesn't get all the spots out, not to mention minor marring. I bought the new Blackfire paint sealant and am going to try that this season, hoping for easier maintenance. I know longevity may be less, but I am thinking it will be easier to do spot repairs. Black is as easy to hate as it is to love.
