Paint sprayers (non-automotive)

I will be getting a new house very soon and have some painting to do, as usual when buying one. Also, my wife also found a whole bedroom furniture set (5 piece) for cheap, but it needs to be refinished/repainted. The last time I repaired/painted a piece of furniture for her, I rattle canned the whole thing, which was painstaking with the small fan it produced, and had to use many cans to complete the job.

So I'm looking for a paint sprayer.

Anyone have any experience with a home owner grade paint sprayer they could share/recommend?

I could spend in the hundreds on it, but not the thousands.
