Mike, hoping you can help me out here. Local detective's Charger that they think sat under a tree (that's all I have to go off of). When I first saw the vehicle, I thought a clay bar or some Tarminator would remove the stains. Boy was I wrong. I've thrown everything at these stains including the kitchen sink. Here's what I've tried after thoroughly washing the vehicle:

Clay bar
Tarminator
Mineral spirits
M105/5.5" orange pad on DA
M105/W4000 wool pad on rotary
Menzerna Power Gloss/W4000 wool pad on rotary
2000 grit wetsanding by hand

Only wetsanding and compound/wool/rotary even began to touch it. As you'll see in the last picture, even after 2000 grit wetsanding one of the many stains on this vehicle still remained. I don't have a the right tools for wetsanding with a DA, otherwise I'd try that a little more. Also, I'm unable to feel the stains with my finger when I run it across the effected areas.

I'm at a loss on what to do. If I can't fix it (which looks to be the case), I'd still like to be able to refer them to their next option, which I'm guessing would be the body shop for a re-paint if they want to go that far with it.

Sorry for the blurry pics. All I had with me was my Blackberry Bold.

I have what appears to be the same thing on my brand new WHITE car... It's dark out now, I'll post pics tomorrow. I park under a maple tree and all the little "Helicopters" land on my roof mostly, and leave HORRIBLE staining. I have tried claying.... minimal results... I tried Meguiar's APC+ at 10:1... again, minimal results. I had a little of the Finish Kare system left and step one seemed to take care of most of it, I only had time to try it out on my deck lid though. What was left was MUCH easier to clay.

Ok.... Here's what I have... I was SO depressed to find this. These little buggers are staining my sidewalk as well.

So, like I said earlier... the second step of the Finish Kare Paint Decontamination System seemed to remove about 95% of it, the rest was remarkably easier to clay with a medium grade clay bar. The sad thing was, just a couple days prior I had applied two coats of WGDGPS and a layer of MaxWax and that crap STILL penetrated to the paint...! Good luck.
