Paint too thin to polish?

Yeah i suspect Lite will be removed with a finishing polish. I will also foam and wash with a strip wash as well which should knock it down a bit. I think i have seen people use Essence before Nova Ev, not too sure. I would still do a panel wipe as that seems like a contentious area so i would probable just play it safe.

Would a coating being removed with a primer? For e.g if i just used Essence before Nova would it remove Lite?

Yeah true. Although, i think i will get more out of Lite than it's claim. It has already been 8 months and looks and performs like day one. Mind you during lockdown my car sat in a garage for a few months!

I personally would not use Essence with another coating. Most manufacturers engineer their line to work with each other. Outside of that... is a total crap shoot. For Carpro lite... it can be remove with a primer /polish. Just make sure you have plenty of pads to switch out as you work around the vehicle. The last thing you want is for the coating residue on your pad to create unnecessary marrings.

Yeah I will just stick with S30 as it’s worked great for me before! I’m hoping by the time I do it again there won’t be much of Lite left, but I guess you never know!
