Hey as I have been reading through the forum i noticed alot of you live in the South Florida area. I was wondering if anyone might have any experience with any of the dent removal places around hear.
Feed back please
 
I think that might need a little more work, like a body shop.

I was thinking that to, but there is no creasing in the metal or paint damage so i was hoping that it might be savalagable since i have had the car for less than 2 months,

Bump this up. I need a recommendation for one down here in miami, foam gun attachment fell out of hose somehow and dent and scratch my door :( Only have 800 miles on her.

I beg to differ. PDR techs can do some pretty crazy stuff, such as:

Here is the project: an R350 hatch that backed into a Jeep spare tire. This one is a challenge I decided to take on after seeing some of the things you guys are doing in here. What can i say, I've been inspired.



I've marked places on here to indicate different things. Black dots are where I'm going to pull and put pressure on the dent. Blue marks are where I'm going to hammer crowns. The red marks are where I believe the dent will start to come out when I relieve pressure by knocking the crowns down with pressure from the glue tabs.



Here is where I've put a big blue Keco tab on one of the areas to pull and relieve pressure on the dent. To pull this, I've rigged up a contraption in my van. I run a chain from the top of the van to the bumper. Then I put a ratchet rope strap on the correct link of chain and attach it to an eye bolt which is run into my A1 mini lifter pull body. I tighten it up really tight on this dent because it is so deep and the license plate pocket is pushed so far in. Once pressure is on this area, I proceed to knock down the crowns in the desired areas.



I've made my pull and most of the crown has been removed. Now its time to push. Pushing this dent was interesting to say the least. To get the corner of the pocket up, I could not use any tape on my tool to deaden it up any. I gave it some heat and pushed slowly. After getting most of that corner up, I taped up the tool and proceeded. I used basically the same process on the area near the center and at the bottom as I described for the area around the pocket.



Here is the finished product. It turned out really well, with only a few discolored push marks near the corner, which were really minor. The customer was very happy, and I learned a lot on this dent.



Here are the tools I used for this dent. I left out a polished body hammer and my blending hammer, which I use for most everything but the broadest of crowns and the sharpest of high spots. For those I use the body hammer, plastic hammer, and the tapper.

Shiny I'm very impressed! Seeing that dent I never would have thought it could be saved like that. hyu seeing that video gives me an idea. I have a small dent just like that and I'm going to give the heat/cold idea a try!
