Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

I have to say, the fact he took the award video down kinda surprised me.

I just can't fathom how stupid Pan was thinking that this stunt wouldn't turn sour, you could see it from a mile away. And the thing is, prior to that awards video being posted, his whole product line had sold out within a day or two! To then go on and do that video like that was pretty foolish. Perhaps he was/is so blinded by his 1.04+ million subscriber popularity that putting his own products in first place would be accepted and embraced by his viewers?

Thing is, that awards video would have been shot before the unveiling of his product range, he had a choice in how that video played out, and plenty of time to consider how it would be received. In that I mean perhaps NOT including his products for this years awards. Or perhaps withheld the awards until the end of the year, giving his products a chance to get into customer hands. Or perhaps withholding this year's awards or even not continuing with that format at all for obvious conflict of interest reasons.

Don't take the above to mean that I begrudge the man's desire to promote his business, that's not what this is about. Rather, he blindly expected viewers to ignore the elephant in the room, either knowingly or unknowingly. Instead, now he has a massive public relations problem that could have easily been avoided.

In any case, I guess he got a big dose of reality.

There is something else I have noticed in regard to The House of Rags, which launched in tandem with Pan's product reveal. One of the figured heads, known as Jamie the Cleaner, rose to such prominence via The Rag Company. His channel and social media efforts led him to becoming a "Gram-bassador" (a brand ambassador that is chosen and sent a bunch of free towels and products to feature in their videos and social media), who then went on to win "Gram-bassador" of the year. He has also been a guest expert on the TRC Q&A Podcasts, as well as co-host of the annual TRCMA trade show. That also led to P&S creating a short run of his Bead-Maker/Dream-Maker concoction called "Clean-Maker", which had his logo put onto the bottle and marketing material as well as trip to see it being made. So, TRC built him up and opened doors for him to prosper.

Looking at the House of Rags webstore, there is a lot of brands missing in action..........................

You would assume that Jamie's TRC connections would have meant TRC towels would be in the store. But no, they chose Autofiber.

You would think Jamie's connection with P&S would mean that it too would have featured, but no. Unless they are sourcing the house brand from P&S.

And on that house brand, called "Detail Co.", well in addition to the "House of Rags" store name, both are far too similar to The Rag Company brand.

Listening to the most recent TRC Q&A Podcast, when the House of Rags topic was brought up as a question, both Levi and Anthony very quickly changed the subject, and the tone of their voice was sus too.

Something is sour is going on with the whole House of Rags and Clean by Pan thing. I get the feeling a lot of people have been put offside through all this.

Well I for one think he should have never included his products in the awards as that is an obvious conflict of interest. Not a year later, not ever. Either that or if he was going to use his channel to support his products he should have discontinued the awards.
These You Tube Detailers are truly legends. In their own minds. 99.9% of the public have no idea that they exist.

At some point, other YT reviewers will be reviewing his products.

He has a new video called update, Q&A, future of YT channel that comes across as almost desparate.

Lots of repeating himself and he's "emailed in a few favors" via positive comments now

As far as the products "selling out", well, maybe a low amount to only be "inflating the hype"

This was posted on reddit:

"That being said, when the Clean by Pan SDS e-mail contact is info @ houseofrags dot com, you know something is up!

Also the Detail Co. by House of Rags has the exact same SDS as CLEAN. by House of Rags. Same computer username generating the SDS with MS Word 2016. If you go deeper into the computer name, it matches up with an employee at Feynlab Inc. for both Detail Co. and CLEAN.

Edit: Upon further research, it's Detail Co. LLC that owns "The House of Rags" as a trademark (filed Sept 9, 2024 in Omaha, NE, but not yet approved). Detail Co. and CLEAN. are brands of Detail Co. LLC. Either Pan has a licensing/royalty arrangement or has equity stake in Detail Co, LLC."

I guess it gets me that he focuses on his supporters (trusting him so ready to buy anything and hyping his 1 Mil subscribers) to sell rather than letting the customers decide. I did not see any "game changer" products - a wash (thin soaps not new), a tire dressing (solvent based), rinseless (polymer based), and two coating.

It seems hard to say a coating is best for 8 years. How do you do accelerated testing?

That video was out prior to the awards video.

I'm chomping at the bits for someone to review it and share it with the world. Because it's better than bottled water....

Some might say "Unicorn Piss" o_O

Many hours into it [actually not long after having found out about it here just after my initial post above]^
While scrolling through the comments I noticed 1 that was quite interesting that someone posted and I decided to piggyback off it and bring it to light outside of the thread it was buried in. It went something along the lines of:

“Hey when you coated your Porsche in April [Btw I completely plagiarized this comment. In reality I had no idea of a Porsche or what he did in April. Lol] your coating wasn’t available, so how can you claim you’ve done 1yr. R&D with your products and tell us to therefore trust you so hard when you obviously didn’t have your own coating to coat your own brand new Porsche in April? That’s a Lie.”

He replied Within minutes. Lol. He came up with the lamest excuse, then tried to call me a conspiracy theorist when all I did was bring up 1 simple fact. Lol.
I replied back respectfully, further making my point, and as we know the next day he deleted the video.

I can’t help but notice his most recent video posted looks like such damage control of a post. It looks like some old pre recorded video with no cause. Someone should ask point blank when was it recorded? Just to see what kind of response he gives because it reeks of being off the dusty shelf. Lol.

At the end of the day he really was a tough watch for that small portion of his vid. Just the repeated talking about himself in 3rd person was enough to make you cringe.

Great find Ric

I'm ashamed that I fell for his act all this time, knowing people here didn't seem to like him much but people didn't judge me for it and to all of you that fall into this category I say THANK YOU

He's got enough followers that I'm not sure it will matter that he botched his launch up. He completely effed up by putting his own line in his Best of 2024 video LMAO.

Does anyone know enough about YouTube to know if it's possible to somehow create a lot of fake subscribers? For example, could someone write some sort of a computer program that created a mass amount of fake YouTube accounts and then subscribes them to a particular channel? I was wonder if this is even a possibility since some YouTube channels seem to have a ridiculous amount of subscribers while others put out quality content for years and only have a few thousand subscribers.

Perhaps fellow content creators were hoping an appearance with Pan would give them a boost in subscribers and view counts?
