Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

I left a post on his youtube video about claiming his was the best. He stated that all sellers make that claim. That is not true.

Tomorrow, we will have another best.

Jamie? Pan? Eddie (ECdetails)?

Now I know the majority of us can't relate to alot of this but if you listen and watch you'll know this company cares, period! I've been a customer for almost 20 years and they walk the line between consumers and higher end products/tools/gear, they say "Customers for Life", well, applies to me for sure and with Nick taking over a couple years ago Griot's Garage has gotten a steady flow of new products, I for one appreciate this

Yeah the customer service in store is crazy as they always seem to have new people (hard to keep retail associates) but the seem to be trained up well

It started by using Wolfgang Uber RW, 2 oz and 1 oz of Klasse Sealant Glaze with a gallon of distilled water (removing 3 oz of the water, ofcoarse) Recently I used Gyeon Q2 ECO wash as the RW with equal success

Sounds like an Elixer type situation. I like adding an oz or 2 of Griots 3-1 to the ceramic Speedshine. Good drying aid

I had no idea about his line but then again I don't follow him, seems like an elitist like that guy from Obsessed Garage

I'm not bashing anyone who likes the above people but it'd just how I see these 2 people, if I can't relate to them or they rub me the wrong way I'm out I'm not a hero for thus either but I unsub'd to Pan because I know how this is going down and I'm not interested

I’ve always liked esoteric as he explains his self well. I just think he likes high end cars, products and such.

The even started having sale on high end products and free shipping time to time. Never seen any of that from Obsessed. Compete different view for me between Matt and Todd.

Out of all of those, its Larry from Ammo that is the class act. He has a great way of showcasing his products without the hard sell and "this is the best product" type mentality. Next time you watch a video of his, notice how he makes the car the star of the show, not the products he is trying to promote or his own personality. He isn't jumping on forums to bump his view count, then calling the members narrow minded, or attacking his own commenters.

I can totally understand that, a sentiment I find applies to me across just about everything in some form or another.

I believe Larry is the number one detailer on you tube. 2.24 million. Agreed hea channel one of the best.

And for products that don’t need a hose or rinse Frothe is Goated. Gotta get use to thinking when you spray to not foam up a cleaned panel but to me nothing is safer. The guy used it on concourse level paint.

So I can buy some/a bunch of Gyeon Cancoat, scrape off the label, and print up some labels that say “Eldos Cancoat” and sell and ship online for double the price? Really? I dunno about that…

People do it all the time. OG drying aid is a lot more expensive than Adam’s slick and slide and Tec582. Same product without color or smell.

All bottled from B&B. You couldn’t buy it and just put your name in it but you can contract to buy it in bulk to sell as your own at your desired price

I went and had a look at his website and followed the link "For people in Australia" and it led to CarCareCo, which is the local TRC importer. So I guess we have found the Aussie distributor.
Yvan was out in Australia in May something to do with Car Care Co.

OG only have one sale per year, Black Friday weekend.

And I know where you are coming from re Matt and Todd, and while I gravitate towards Matt, I do fully understand how he gets people offside, myself included from time to time. The thing is, I've been privy to a shady story re Todd, something that put me off his channel and sharing links to his store. So, I guess the good and bad swings both ways, humans don't always meet in the middle.

I mean the problem with stories is that they can sometimes can be stories.

I’ve heard a few of Matt but not sure. One thing that I like that a lot dont is he speaks his mind weather you agree or not.

As for Esoteric performing shady BudgetPlan1 is one of the most sincere, kind and generally good guys I’ve never met (in person)

And for him to quit a long standing job that has afforded him some nice creature comforts in life (polish angel and kamikaze products ) and move to work there says alot. Todd was on fringe with me till BP1 went there…

Are we sure he did not replace his brewed coffee with instant to show someone cannot tell the difference?

Well I will throw in my opinion. While I stopped watching Pan's videos long ago... I found I would tune out watching, just found it tiring... PAAAAAAN!! ... I gotta give him props for making money and running a business. He works for it, so respect. And respect to them all doing it. The internet is FULL of people peddling everything imaginable. A large number of douchebags and scumbags that are geasier than a pig at country fair greased pig contest. So guys selling car detailing products are certainly not a bad bunch. Unless one of them is selling straight water in a bottle, most products sold will at least be better than what most people put on their cars - nothing. Obviously some products will be better than others. But respect to trying to make your mark and business.
Matt at OG, while I find him kinda arrogant, thats what I like about him in his videos. He doesn't hold back and does make me laugh. Whether thats actually how he is or just racheting up for the camera? He has created a character at least and he gets peoples attention good or bad. Heck, people have and are discussing him on here. So his formula is working.
Esoteric, well I can only give my personal experience. Like others on here, I have interacted with Budget and have huge respect. Very honest, down to earth guy that is instantly your friend. It was talking to him that had me randomly drop by one day last summer when I was near that city. Just a busy weekday with no appointment, just dropped by. Sadly Budget was out at the time, missed him. But Todd was there, working. He spent the following 2 hours on this busy day to make time for me, an out of towner that dropped in and didn't even buy a product that day. He gave me a tour and chatted like old friends. Detailing, cars, life, etc. His video persona is likeable I find, informative and helpful, I enjoy the videos. I liked them before I met him. After meeting him I see he is a genuine, easy going, cool guy. One of your buddy kind of guys. As Budget said, a workplace where all the people there are decent and have passion in the same interests. Makes for a fun place to work. Thats why he is a good fit there too.
And the part about high end cars only... well yes, most of these bigger name detailers will get most of the exotic and high end rides, Larry at Ammo, Brian at Apex I'm sure has picked up alot more over the years, etc, etc. Well Esoteric does anything, like the others do too. Day I was there out back in the lot was a slew of cars on deck. Yea some exotics, but an older 'Vette and a cool old late 70's kinda hippy van too. They are car guys, like the rest of us.

Ok, thats my opinion. Goes with the chip on my shoulder. :)

Sorry for not quoting relevant posts...

Shoutout to Accumulator, his knowledge and methods.

I do not do his wash method, though, and I'm not sure its necessary. Maybe if someone is washing a car with (nightmarishly?) soft paint?

About Pan; I know nothing about him and his products. I think I've watched 1 video of his? Maybe.

However -- just a random thought with no basis -- maybe this product launch/review disaster will somehow end up helping him sell his products?

About Esoteric: Haven't had a reason try the products they carry (yet).

I watched some gloss meter videos from them a while back... are those being used nowadays?

About OG: I'm with Klasse Act on this -- How he presents himself/his brand disagrees with me, so, unless I can't get a product elsewhere, I don't want to purchase from him.

I sporadically check his website to see if any products I've never heard of have shown up (because I think he researches products better than me.

 • I think he has an up to $800 upgrade kit for the EGO pressure washer. I can imagine a small use case for that
 • Then there are Liquid Elements polishers. Hmmm...
 • Also, I haven't dug deep into this but I don't think the Pressol sprays were perfected? If not, maybe they are still in development or have at least met all their original targets?

About Larry: I like his channel and his presentation.

He answered my emails (in a timely manner) when I have had random questions, which I appreciate.

He seems like a car guy, which I think is part of why his videos are popular. But his videos are not as enjoyable to me as they used to be. Inevitable repetition might be a large cause of that.

He also strikes me as a businessman though. If I wanted a car detailed and money was no object maybe I wouldn't hire him because of that.

Shoutout to The Guz. Because making youtube content is not easy

My prediction is after the sheep have bought his products, YouTubers review them it will be onto the next thing and/or it will sail off into obscurity

One good thing to come from his "Best of 2024" video...it serves as a "How NOT to launch your own line" video

The more I hear the name House of Rags, the more it sounds like a rip off of Rag Co.

I remember when Rag co. 1st came on the scene, I wasn’t really a fan, I still haven’t ordered anything from them, but with DJ Khaled ripping off their name as if he couldn’t think of another word besides “rag” I suddenly gained a bit more respect for Rag co.

Once upon a time the term “rag” was frowned upon in the world of detailing the same way using anykind of sponge was.. Suddenly rags are cool and sponges are safer than plush mitts. Are we in Bizarro world or what the heck? Lol.
