i just bought a Rupes Mini and of course now I have to buy pads. Just a couple of questions. Has anybody tried the Griots Garage pads with the Mini? They are thick and cheaper than Rupes pads. I am familiar with the LC line so I picked up some blue , black, and red to supplement the Rupes line. The Buff and Shine look a little thin. Looking for suggestions from Rupes users. Thanks

Has anybody tried the Griots Garage pads with the Mini?

I've tried the Griots pads with the Griots 3", and I can't honestly recommend them. They're fairly thick but the cell composition has them really somewhat spongy. I have the red pads. I haven't tried their orange correcting pads. Their glass polishing pads and microfiber cutting and finishing pads however work pretty well but ordering they seem like odd sizes.. 3.5" for the cutting and 4" for the finishing in the microfiber but they're made for the 3" backing plate on the Griots machine.
