Paste Wax Suggestions

Hellow everyone,

I have a 2014 BMW 535i with black sapphire paint. I have done a good job of maintaining the finish, having polished the vehicle with Menzerna polishes and applied a coat of Menzerna power lock. I even applied a coat of DP Max Wax about 6 weeks ago.

Each night I wipe the car down with either ONR (wash and shine), Megs Synthetic X-Press spray wax (D156) or WG Deep Gloss Spritz. So far so good.

In any event, I am now interested in trying one of the better paste waxes. I am presently torn between, Fuzion, Souveran, BFMS or just sticking with DP Max Wax. I plan to continue my nightly wipe downs with the aforesaid products and am wondering which of the paste waxes in question will yield the best results and leverage the strengths of ONR, D156 or WG DG Spritz. As an aside, does ONR wash away nuba wax?
 
First, I would be careful wiping it down every night. Over time I think that would induce some type of imperfections. It is just percentages, sooner or later it will happen.
As for waxes, totally up to the buyer. Whatever you and your wallet like. Fuzion and BFMS I like but arent cheap

I hear you, but I can't resist. It's the dust, smudges and other contaminants that I pick up everyday that drives me to do it!

But do you think that existing spray wax/sealants will compliment and maintain the finish of Fuzion or BFMS? I take it that Fuzion and WG Deep Gloss Spritz are compatible, being from the same family. What about BFMS and Megs D156 or WG Spritz? Compatible?
 
All the waxes you are interested in are quite good. I'd go with Fuzion or BFMS - just because they last a bit longer than Souverän. Fuzion is a tiny bit easier to buff off. But, BFMS is the better deal $$$.

Really, just pick one. You can't go wrong with your choices.
 
You applied Menzerna Power Lock. There isn't anything more you could put on that would make a difference. Most of the ones you mentioned will attract dust like crazy. On top of that you won't see any if little difference at all.

Save your $$.
 
+1 for BFMS. I have all three (Fuzion, Souveran and MS) and, while I like the finish on Souveran the best for depth, BFMS just lasts longer. And it's WOWA... Fuzion needs time to haze which Adds time to it. Finish is ok on Fuzion but in my current complement of waxes, it finishes a distant 3rdbehind BFMS and Souveran, but ahead of Megs Ult.

Besides the fact that you're already "topping" Menzerna Power Lock with an assortment of detail spray-products, and/or a rinseless wash...

I'm really interested in the reason(s) why you want to "layer/top" Waxes over top of a Sealant?

I understand your point, but I have an itch to experiment with various products (within reason) to identify the best LSP(s) for my car. I also feel that the Power Lock (as with every LSP) gradually looses its luster over time and I like to give my finish a boost with a spray wax/sealant or even a new coat paste wax.

Making a dust magnet out of your paint will definitely keep your busy.

And that dust and other contaminants will induce marring no matter how careful you are. If you're doing it every day you can expect your paint to be swirled up pretty quickly.

As for waxes, I have most of them, Fuzion, Souveran, DoDo Purple Haze, 50/50, Celeste D etc. and for Black I'd have to say my favorite is Blackfire Black Ice, it's simply a notch above the rest when it comes to Black paint.

Powerlock is a great looking sealant IMO & last a good while.

As far as the ones you mentioned. I'd go with BFMS.

I would go with black ice or synergy to try something different.
 
You like wax, want to save a few centavos, want very durable, Colly #476.

It's one reason I'd bet why my 97 Hoe looks like it was painted 4 months ago

WOWO / WOWA - same thing, right? Wipe-on/wipe-off.... Or wipe-on/wipe-away. Unless I'm confused on if WOWA means something else?

WOWA=Wipe on walk away

None of the waxes are of this nature that I have seen mentioned. Opti-Seal, four star UPP, Ultima paint guard plus, and Blackfire crystal seal are examples of this type.
