I have an interesting problem on a long term project car for a customer. I used PBL original coating on it after several weeks of correction off and on. I worked on it in between my other projects so I ended up coating a couple panels at a time.

At any rate, I used the booster on the car a few hours prior to the customer coming in to put his decals on the car door. Long story short, his decals would not stick. At first I thought it was because of the booster, but I remembered that I had trouble taping off a panel which I already coated and had cured for a few days.

Should I wash the car and see if that helps? I don't have much more time to put into this car and I have other cars stacking up, so Id like to find a solution and send this one out the doors ASAP.
Thanks for your educated suggestions.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, the point of a coating is so that things dont stick. You should have put them on prior to coating. Now you will have to remove the coating on the panel that the decal is supposed to be on then re-coat. Follow the PBL recommended method to remove. I do not know what that is.

ummmmmmmmmmmm thanks for that insight. There was mass confusion with this customer and plans constantly changed. They didn't follow my recomendations. Looks like I'll be keeping the car for a bit longer.
