PBL Paint Coating impressions/looking for feedback

To the OP, you have black paint. If you are looking to reduce/eliminate wash induced marring, the tips above are a must! Every one of them. Foaming the car dry and pressure rinsing before the 2BM is critical, especially on black paint. This will eliminate most of the grit prior to rubbing your wash mitt across on the paint. Black is a royal PITA and takes extra pre-cautions to keep defect free as possible. If you think a pressure washer and foam lance are too expensive, then your results will not be optimal.

I understand, and I'll likely just have to bite the bullet, but it's just one of those things that seems more expensive than it should be. I mean $100+ just for a foam lance attachment, that's stretching reasonable pricing just a bit if you ask me.

Not to mention, if you don't already own a pressure washer, that's another $200+ easily if you buy something decent, or you could cheap out like I probably will and get something more economical just for car washes like a $60-70 dollar electric pressure washer from harbor freight.

The point comes down to it being easily over $200 just to foam your car prior to a wash, a little absurd if you ask me, but that's just my opinion. I don't have a side detailing business like many here so justifying a purchase like that is a little on the difficult side for a hobbyist/weekend detailer like me without feeling like I'm blowing money I shouldn't be.

Sorry for the rant, had to vent a little, gets a little frustrating after putting in literally days worth of detailing into a car only to discover the hundreds of dollars I've already spent on detailing supplies, polisher, polishes, microfiber towels, etc wasn't enough this time, that I need to spend $200+ more for a pressure foam lance and pressure washer..

Hope everyone is having a good Friday and hope everyone has a good weekend, cheers.
