Id say i buy 50% of my detailing products from amazon and the other 50% from autogeek. I recently discovered something though. I emailed autogeek about it on sunday and havent gotten a reply. I recently checked if it would be cheaper to buy a menzerna product from autogeek or amazon. I found the product on amazon for $19 through PBMG but its $34 on autogeek for the same product. Now my question is why are some things cheaper on amazon through PBMG then they are on autogeek when they are essentially the same store? I mean its coming from the same place right? Now im not talking about a product on amazon sold by amazon or another retailer im talking about products found on amazon sold by PBMG.

If PBMG and AGO are the same company then why not just by everything form PBMG instead of AGO if its cheaper?

I'm curious to know Menzerna product are you looking at? I've noticed a few $ variation between AG to Amazon but not 45% difference in price. That's huge...

Well, my answer to you is not the reasoning you are looking for in the price differential but here it is.... AG price matches, and they will be more than happy to price match their own stuff even if you find it on Amazon.

If I was to play the speculating game, I would say that the price differential may be due to:
1) Old stock?
2) Mislabeled Amazon product?
3) Part of Amazon's contractual agreement to offer the product at a discounted price!?
4) Restocked items?

As it was described by Angus, I did see some variations but no 45% difference. In all cases, I find a better price and call my friends at AG and they are more then accommodating, especially if you can provide them with a link or item number :)

Have no fear, PBMG has your back!

I posted a similar question a while back. If I'm in need of one or two items quick and I don't have a discount code, I'll order on Amazon from PBMG, mainly because the shipping is much cheaper through Amazon.

I thought Autogeek will not price match amazon prices.

From the price match page..."Sorry, we are unable to match Amazon, Ebay or other auction sites and membership clubs like Sams and Costco. Outlets are also excluded."

I found the product on amazon for $19 through PBMG but its $34 on autogeek for the same product.

It's likely an error somewhere for sure; especially with a Menzerna product. With a 45% difference are you sure the sizes were the same? Which product are you referring to also?

I am sure there can be listing descrepancies due to just human error and amazon can make mistakes. From what I seen the prices are generally comparable.

One other thing I noticed about ordering from Amazon is that the time to ship the package took a little longer. Depending on the time of day, sometimes my AG order will ship the same day. When I ordered through Amazon, it took a day or two for it to ship. Shipping time was the same though.

Amazon offers Prime 2-day shipping on some products like 1z Einszett & CG. Not sure which other products are also sold and shipped from Amazon that offers Prime shipping.
