PBW Liquid Natty Blue

In your "Products used" list you don't list Liquid Souveran or show using it as a comparison, yet you show it in your picture. Just curious as to why?

I've looked at this picture over and over and can't figure it out. I see no Liquid Souveran. I see Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and Bodywork Shampoo. Am I blind? Or just missing something?

Dang dude you are freaking blind, its right there in front of you. What the heck is your problem???

J/K I changed the picture to the one the was supposed to be there ;)

Well after about 2 weeks I am really starting to notice a difference in the Liquid Blue and the Liquid Souveran. The Blue side isn't as slick and it has lost the deep dark gloss from when it was first applied. The Liquid Souveran side is still very slick and still has the deep dark gloss. The car has only had about 5 miles put on it since the application, been sitting in the garage and hasn't been touched.

I hate to say it but I think something will have to be done to increase the durability of this beta product.

I have also noticed that the product separates completely pretty quick when sitting for about a week. No big deal really but it may concern others.

I hope I get a little more durability then that Dwayne.

My test vehicle is a daily driver with no garage, so it doesn't sound good.

I wouldn't worry about it too much since this is a beta product. I would imagine that they will make changes as needed before a final release.

Thanks for the follow-up on the durability Dwayne. Will keep an eye on my Envoy and see how she holds up. Must resist urge to wash and QD.... ARG!!!

BTW: One thing that really surprised me this morning was that after applying last night and then sitting outside, I could not find a spec of dust. Normally, the next morning I have to fight the urge to break out the hose and at least re-rinse the horizontal panels.

Wow, that is interesting. Got any pics that show the difference?

I have a sample of both Liquid Souveran and Liquid Natty's Blue that I have not tried yet. I may just have to try them side by side to see the comparison.

Nope no pics since it is raining out but I doubt I could even catch the difference in a picture anyway. I'll see what I can do when the sun decides to pop out again.

My test vehicle is a daily driver too. 150 miles one way to work and I had to drive back and forth all last week and this week.

I'm currently at one week after application with no wash or rain exposure, paint is just as slick. Sorry Dwayne. We are expecting rain over the next few days and I'm actually looking forward to it for test purposes. I will be doing my review possibly next week.

I'm glad you and Corey are having better results then I am. I guess the only way to really compare is to get all of the test cars side by side for everyone to see and feel :)

Ask Corey my first impression! I was not happy at all. Turns out the body solvent that I used to strip the paint killed the wax. I used the body solvent to strip the paint, followed with 91% IPA (x2) and then a wipe down with water. After I changed my prep steps, it was a whole different animal!

Have you lost your mind son, you told me that in a PM a couple weeks back ;)

Very possible! I've had very little sleep lately, late nights working on my mother's car, 2 1/2 hour drive to work then home and I still missed the contest deadline.
