After using the PC 7424 & XMT line yesterday on my 20th Ae Gti I was itching for more, but I wanted bigger & more dramatic result's. don't get me wrong I loved the results I got yesterday.

Enter my '86 Daily driven Blazer, I purchased this about 2 yr's ago and it had been sitting outside for who knows long, it was covered in pine needles and everything else when I picked it up for $300. I had washed it twice from that day untill present day. It was the perfect canidate for Dramatic results.

Product's used:
Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash
Griots Garage Clay
PC 7424
Oarange pad
gray pad
XMT #3
XMT #2
XMT Glaze
XMT Pad Care Combo
Klasse Sealant
Poorboys Natty's Blue

After wash & Clay
( only Clayed the Driver side )

1st application of XMT #3 with oarange pad

After 2 Apllications of XMT #3

Im not sure if I was using to much product or if it was cause I was getting so much paint off the hood , but the pad was just caked. I did use only A .25 size spot on the pad.

Caked Pad Saturated w/Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner

Caked Pad after cleaning with Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner & Bristle Brush

After 1 Application of XMT #2 w/oarange pad

I decided against A application of XMT #1 cause I didn't want to stain my fresh White Pad with all this dead paint.

After 1 Application of XMT Glaze w/Gray Pad

After 2 Coat's of Klasse Sealant & 1 Coat of Natty's Blue.
I let the 1st coat of Klasse cure for 10 minute's & the 2nd coat for 30.

Close up of the Metal Flake I didn't know it had.

Overall I am extremly happy with all the products I have used from Auto Geek & will continue to add to my collection of cleaning supplys.

I'd love to see how that came out but I'm not seeing any pictures at all.....

Apparently I'm the only one that doesn't see any pictures??? I wonder why?

Man! WOW! I didn't know you had metal flake paint under there. Great job. Now finish the job, LOL. Looks great man.

Awesome job. Nice write-up skills to bro!

Your pad is caked due to the oxidized paint being removed. Quite common.

I want to see the rest now!

I figured the Pad was loading up so quick cause of all the dead paint.
I may just do the whole detail job on the drivers side so I can show people what These products & I are capable of. lol

I could really care less about the Blazer My main goal is getting the VW Swirl Free, but we'll see what happens

Wow, I love how you took those pictures. Looking at the hood with the tree branch shows how the reflection inreases with each application, espeically after glaze and the final wax. Well it's partially due to the sun moving a bit, but great job!

What a difference!! I love the XMT line too! I really can do amazing things. I'm with the others! I can't wait to see her finished. :) :Picture: :Picture: :Picture:

That is one hell of an improvement, these are my favorite show n shines!

Wow... great work.

One problem... did you say you let Klasse Sealant Glaze cure for 10 minutes, then you added another coat? You are supposed to let it cure for 12-24 hours.

Awesome job!! The before and after pics really show off what magic you can do with the right product, right equipment and proper skills. I'm going to go to gym and try the same process on my body. Hopefully I'll get good results and post my before and after pics

It's my daily driver & I don't have time to let cure for hr's.

DUDE!!!! Now that is drastic results!

Very nice, I too bought the entire line up of XMT and I'm quite pleased with it as well.

Question though, when you get blue all over the pad does that mean you had no clearcoat? I'm assuming that your actually removing paint, I know you said it's just your daily driver but isn't removing paint bad?

Well you did one heck of a job in that thing and the half pictures look amazing, well done.

Maybe I should do that to my old beater too...mmm....na, should finish the volvo first then move on to the old beater hehehehe as soon as the weather gets better.

Terrific job. Just curious....how long did the whole vehicle take?

Man i love those types of before and after. Looking forward to see the rest of the car.

Great work, nice write up
