PC 7424xp leaking oil

I just pulled out my pcxp to install the bolts where the handle goes and noticed it had leaked a little oil around the casing. Is it still safe to use or should I check something first? I havent turned it on yet. It's probably only been used a handful of times and has sat all winter in my closet.
