Finally I completed my little project. Many thanks to those that posted in my previous thread (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-university/24151-steps-between.html)

Steps completed:

1. wash
2. clay
2. Menzerna Super Intensive Polish (PO83)
3. Menzerna Final Polish (PO85RD)
4. Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Paint Sealant
5. P21S Concours Carnauba Paste Wax

After above steps I was still unhappy with the shine and everything. I think I can blame the carnauba wax for that, as it gives more depth than shine - and this is a white car, so that's a no-no?

So I added the following (on top of everything):
1. meguiars nxt
2.
Optimum Opti-Seal (4 coats I believe)
3. Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer

I was happier with the results but I did not take the wax off prior to doing all of this, so the results might have been even more impressive.
Anyways, I started complicating things in the end trying to get a better result, so any comments are welcome.

BEFORE (not too many pictures, my bad, i know - these are mostly older pics of the car):

I am missing the front lip, and sides, but that is coming up :)

Looks good, and yes, there's not much depth at all to white, lol
I just ordered some SSII and am trying it out soon.

I was thinking well that looks dull, but then I scrolled down....WOW!!! That is a fantastic amount of gloss for a white car! Nice job!

Looks great!

Btw, NXT has cleaners in it so it will take off the last coat of wax :)

^ hm, if that's true, then that might have done the trick ;)

thank you all

Looks nice, for future reference I have found Liquid Souveran is one of the few that I really find to make white pop out!
Nice detail though, I loved the Preludes.

yes i know ... used it on my silver prelude, without any polishing, and it looked amazing

one day : )

if I was to put it right away, I would need to take all of this stuff off? what would I use to do so?

White is a tough "color" to work. On an old 2002 Toyota with single stage paint the only thing I am really happy with is Fusion. It really makes the paint look "happy". People walking by the car always want to touch the paint. They never did with any other wax or sealant. Luckily a little fusion goes a long, long way. But after seeing Mike's comment about luck with Souveran, next time I will have to give my liquid Souveran a try.

:iagree:Gotta go with Meghan on this one Liquid Souveran on white is awesome and SIG ll , but Pinnacle is a slam dunk.

Those are beautiful reflection shots for a white car! I'm sure you're very happy with the outcome..great job! :)
