Peet's Coffee?

For the money Costco Colmbo Supremo is hard to beat @ $9.00 for 2 #

JA Blue Mt is super, was down there a few weeks ago and bought some back..

Have an old Saeco Italia machine, grinds and tamps it, one cup at a time..

Yes, if you add anything to coffee other than water it kinda takes the original taste out.

I'll buy any and all the coffee you want if I can have that Packard!

When business is booming I drink Starbucks French Roast and haven't found anything as bold that is as smooth. Right now when I am lucky enough to have coffee at all I drink 8 O'clock original blend.

So how was the Godiva? Saw that the other day in Safeway.

My local Ralphs carries Peet's Coffee. I like that it has a strong and bold flavor but doesn't have a bitter aftertaste, like Starbucks coffee.

On a side note, I bought a Presto Percolator this Christmas and boy does it make a good cup of joe. Has anyone had coffee from a coffee maker like this?

I discovered Peet's in Publix about 18 months ago, it was on sale and thought, why not. I'm hooked, At work they buy bulk Folgers for the masses, so I ended up putting a 4-cup drip machine in my office for Peet's. My favorite is their Sumatra - stronger flavor but not bitter like Starbucks. One of the guys down the hall is a convert as well.

Used to drive by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg all the time going between Lafayette, In and Detroit, but never stopped in. Heard they a few remarkable Packards there from time to time.

Some years ago I had the pleasure of trying the official White House coffee on Air Force 2 while working a detail with the VP. It was some kind of Jamaican blend that is not sold in stores but lord, that was the best stuff I ever had. Of course I was afraid to not like it in fear of Mr. Cheney having me killed...nice guy but uber scary. But, I am Dunkin guy these days.
