Had some free time today, my brother (he is 19) asked me to clean his car in which I did. 6 hours later, 6 beers, and a cheeseburger here are the final results. Feed back please

Excellent work I see those beers and cheeseburger really brought some marvolus work on that muscle car

You work came out great looking. You just washed the car? I like VRP but IMO it lost to my durability tests. As did all the other tire dressings I tried.

I see it is it was done in California. Mind if I ask which city?

In Los Angeles area, to be exact it was in Inglewood. I tried Blue Guard II in which it failed on durability and as well shine

Yeah looked like LA streets. I though maybe it was East LA.

Well after doing durability tests with tire dressings. I found Ultima Tire and Trim to be the most durable. I then just use PERL at 3:1 (3 parts product) on my tires for regular maintenance washes.

I do use a soft wheel brush for my tires however. I don't really need an aggressive brush because they are kept clean. And just Meguiars Hyper wash in a bucket. 2 actually :D

I applied Ultima Tire and Trim about 1.5 months ago and it is pretty nice seeing the tire still have their color and the tires still beading water like day one.

So my conclusion to the tire dressing durability tests is. I found that topping holds the color and beading longest.

If it was East L.A. by now the car will be sitting in bricks. I wish I had a jack and a drill to remove the rims that way I can clean the inside as well. I just use Diablo Gel which is pretty cool and wax it with some CG Wheel Guard and Rim protector. I have a new jar of Rim Wax by Smartwax which I have not yet used since I am waiting to get my car and have some actually chrome rims to work with.

Great name, for this great-looking Pony!! :xyxthumbs:
