I have been hired to do two black trucks that are going to a car show later this month, and since they are black and it is going in a show, of course I putting like two coats of Soveran, but I was wonder what could I put under the Soveran to enhance the shine, is there any good sealants that would combine nice with it or should I just leave it to the Soveran? Thanks Guyz.

I've used CG's Wet Mirror Finish, Danase's Wet Glaze, and RMG under Souveran and they are all excellent choices for shine enhancement

As far as sealants, UPP or AJT are very good. Also, the new Menzerna Glaze might be good too (has some filling properties)...but, I have not tried it yet.

DG101 + Souveran + New! Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax just to boost it at the show or right before.

Dont know how it will compare with other combos, but after the pics killr posted of the Pinn souv liquid spray wax over the souveran, that must be a head turner.

Scott's vette is always WOW on the shine. Think he puts Souveran over UPP. Bet you can't go wrong with just the Souveran or a Glaze/Souveran.

To me, there was one thing that popped into my head...

In fact, I even have an "upgrade" package for this listed on my website for those customer's who have show cars or reallllyy want to make theirs stand out. I call it the "wet paint package."

I apply Pink Moose (ClearKote's Vanilla Moose and Clearkote's Red Machine Glaze mixed 50/50) via Edge Blue pad speed 5 on PC. I do entire car then buff off.

I then follow this with Souveran Paste via WOWO.

(for vehicles like the ones you described for car shows, I would probably do CK's RMG and VM in 2 separate steps)

Additional cost that I charge for this package: +$40

UPP with Polycharger .... give them each a small travel size spray bottle with Souveran Spray wax to use before the show. WHAM !!!

Actaully I'm probably going with them to maintain it during the show, so I will have everything with me, unfortunately I don't have any UPP, I was thinking about using WG Sealant under the Soveran, what do you think.

If you are using a sealant under canauba, again depending on the color, I'd use UPP, DP SS, or Wofgang. KillrWheels is right about spray Souveran, it will be an stunning combo!:righton:

I've heard great things from a very reputable detailer here in Canada and he too uses this line up that Whitethunder46 recommended. Expec that to top it off the uses Zymol Vintage and the vehicles look incredable. Just remember this is only the cherry on the cake. You have to get the polishing flawless to make the vehicle shine perfect, remove every scratch/swirl, leave the paint looking solid and then with this combo you will make a good show car.

Well that's just my opinion...keep in mind that I've never used this Pink Moose so I'm only going by what someone else recommended to me...hope this helps. But I was a little surprised to see someone else using this combo...good job Whitethunder46.

I've considered getting the WMF by CG but I just got my RMG a few weeks ago. How do you find they compare? I bought the RMG b/c everybody raves about it. The pics for the WMF on the CG site is enticing to say the least.
