Peri-Peri Hot Sauce - Thank you Sheila!

Last year when I first worked with Dennis Gage I met his Vice President of Sales and found out that besides our love for classic cars she's also a fan of hot sauces!

While we were in Evansville last week shooting 4 new segments for My Classic Car she gave me a bottle of a Hot Sauce she just discovered called Peri-Peri Sauce that's absolutely delicious!

It' not crazy hot like some and so far has been great on everything I've tried it on.

So I thought I would share this in the "Off Topic" forum and give a shout-out to Sheila to say,

Thank you! :dblthumb2:

Next to me pointing to where the cool air comes out of the air conditioning vents is Sheila who is the Vice President of Sales and also the most wonderful host to all the guests that visit the My Classic Car TV Studio including Max and me. After we finished for the day she took us out to dinner to a local favorite place to dine, the Haub Steak House.

p.s.

Sheila owns and drives a 1971 red Cutlass Convertible!

Iowa's just about to ask and saw the label. Nandos is fantastic. They also make one that doubles as a paint stripper.

Mike I scaned the upc bar code and it was found.

It gave locations that it could be bought. I also love hot sauce.

If you get a chance look for one named Daves Insanity sauce.

That sure was a nice gift.

Oh man!!! I LOVE Nando's Peri Peri....went there last weekend. They have recipies on their website too. The garlic hot sauce if off the hook!

Too late Matt :awman:

Nice gesture on Sheila's part :props:

I also love hot sauces but I like ones that have flavor and heat. Anyone can make a hot sauce that is nothing but heat. A true artist with hot sauces makes them hot AND flavorful. Nandos falls into that category of having excellent flavor and enough heat. :hungry:

I couldn't agree more...

The Peri-Peri was good but I'll tend to go for something hotter but not to the level of Dave's Insanity.

The hot sauce I make has great flavor and I can make it as hot as I want or don't want by changing how many Habaneros I use... here's a batch from a few years ago...
